How I work

Finding the right coach or therapist can feel overwhelming—I've been there, so I understand the stress it can bring. My aim is to simplify this process for you. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions.

I am a certified trauma-informed somatic coach with a holistic approach that considers mental, emotional, and physical health. I believe in personalized sessions that cater to your unique needs and desires.

Sessions

I offer two types of sessions tailored to your specific wants and needs:

Talk Sessions: In these sessions, I focus on listening and reflecting. You share your experiences, and I respond with compassion, offering questions and perspectives to help you gain clarity and understanding.

Deep Sessions: These sessions involve working with your body and subconscious to achieve deeper insight and understanding. They may include:

  • Guided Meditations and Visualizations: Explore different states of being to envision new possibilities.
  • Nervous System Support: Techniques for soothing and building resilience.
  • (Family) Constellation Processes: Connect with different parts of yourself, such as your inner child.
  • Exploring Subconscious Wisdom: Tune into the felt sensations that arise with certain thoughts, beliefs, and emotions.

Talk sessions can be conducted over the phone, via video call, or during a walk in the park. Deeper exploration sessions are always done via Zoom, allowing you to create a comfortable space in your own home. This way, you can relax in a familiar environment and avoid the stress of traveling while in a vulnerable 'after session' state.

Ways I can support you

First and foremost, my invitation to you is to feel into what you want and need. And since I know that is especially hard to tap into when going through burn out, ill line out a couple of options.

Online coaching

If you’re in a total state of overwhelm and getting off the couch or even out of bed alone feels like climbing mount Everest, I suggest starting with sessions via phone or video call. This way, you get to stay inside of your safe little bubble and I will join you there virtually. This might especially be soothing if traffic and outside noises are too much to bear - which is totally normal when going through burn out - providing a soft bedding for our sessions since there’s nowhere to go before or after, except for maybe getting a cup of tea from the kitchen.

Outside walks in the park

If you are capable of navigating the busy streets of Amsterdam and crave some time outdoors, walks in the park might be a good fit for you. We meet up at one of the parks - Vondelpark, Erasmuspark, Rembrandtpark - and stroll together while we talk about whatever is on your mind. On days when you don’t feel like talking but don’t want to be alone with your thoughts, I’m happy to accompany you in silence. If walking becomes too tiring, we can find a bench to sit on. All of you is welcome, in what ever state you're in, and finding what feels good is part of the process of getting in touch with your needs and expressing them.

Free connection call

The most important thing about coaching or therapy, even more so than the modality you choose, is the connection and safety you feel with your coach or therapist. That's why I offer a complimentary 30-minute Zoom call – to provide a pressure-free space for us to get to know each other and see if there's a mutual connection. This initial consultation will help us understand your needs and determine how I can best support you through this challenging time. Once we both feel that 'yes', we can proceed to work together.
